Why Not to Skip Leg Day

Leg day at the gym is just as important, if not more important, than working out any other part of your body. Yet, many people tend to skip working out their legs. We all just want to have big arms or be able to bench press a lot. That’s fine but we have to put the same amount of attention on our legs. Working out your legs is very important and has many benefits to it. Here is a list of some benefits working out your legs has on you!

1. Working put your legs will make them stronger while helping you increase your vertical and running faster.
2. If your having lower back pain, working out your legs will help prevent it and make it better.
3. Working out your legs helps you to get in shape and increase your stamina.
4. The last benefit is pretty simple. Working out your legs will strengthen them while giving a good support system to the rest of your upper body.

Remember to work out all your muscles. While working out your legs though, make sure you workout all the muscles, even including your butt. Calf raises, squats, deadlift, and leg raises are all good exercises. Remember to stay fit and NOT to skip leg day

All About Protein (Whey)

Protein can play an important part in gaining strength and muscle! Drinking a protein shake 30 minutes or less after finishing a workout will help the most. Drinking a protein shake is actually better than eating something with high protein. A protein shake will usually have more protein than any foods. Shakes are also better than food because shakes take less time to digest, which causes the protein to be more affective! The problem for most people though, is finding the right protein! Don’t worry, I made a list of what I think the top 5 best whey protein powders are! I based my ratings off of price, grams of protein, calories, and a couple other key factors. All protein powders listed are located at GNC. These ratings will not be in a specific order.
